PURPOSE:To omit a magnification measuring device and to simplify the operation of the titled device by inputting elements on the original side and elements on the recording side to a magnification setting control device to determine the magnification. CONSTITUTION:A magnification control device 10 is built in a picture scanning/ recording device and an element for determining the length of at least either one direction out of the main scanning direction and subscanning direction of an area in which the necessary area of the original and the necessary area of a recording material are copied is inputted to the control device 10. Since the determined magnification is set up in a magnification circuit 20, it is unnecessary to use another magnification measuring device. |
