PURPOSE:To facilitate the checking of the state of operation, by connecting a switch from the side of a control part to the side of a test-pattern forming part when the output from a sensor is in the specified state, and sequentially generating test patterns. CONSTITUTION:A selecting bar is brought to a neutral position, and a diagnostic-code display switch is turned ON. Then an engine speed is reduced. Then a mode judging part 22 is operated, and a switch 23 is connected to the side of a test-pattern forming part 25. The test patterns generated by the test-pattern forming part 25 are sequentially and repeatedly sent to specified parts from an output part 26, and the specified parts are tested. When abnormality is found as a result of the test, said part is checked in detail furthermore. |
