PURPOSE:To shorten the time from intermusic detection to a stop mode by arranging a rapid traverse and rewind mode and an intermusic detection mode on both sides of a stop mode, and switching the modes through a cam. CONSTITUTION:A large gear 5 is rotated by a motor, and when one terminal of a brake arm 8 is positioned projection parts 5c1 and 5c2 of its edge cam 5c, reel turntables 9 and 10 are stopped from rotating. When one terminal of an operation arm 12 is positioned at minimum-diameter parts 5d1, 5d2, and 5d3 of an edge cam 5d, an ejection mode, rapid traverse mode, and stop mode are entered respectively. Further, when one terminal of the operation arm 12 is positioned at intermediate-diameter parts 5d4 and 5d5, the intermusic detection mode and a pause mode are entered. Therefore, when the edge cams 5c and 5d are switched from the intermusic mode to the stop mode, a brake arm 8 and the operation arm 12 are put in operation in the order of the ejection, rapid traverse and rewind, stop, intermusic gap, pause, and play modes, shortening the time up to when a tape is stopped. |
