PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from passing through an intermusic blank in intermusic detection mode or becoming loose, by making the stop of a reel motor coincident with the timing of braking. CONSTITUTION:The rotational extent of a large gear 5 is detected by an angle sensor (not shown in a figure), which outputs an ON and an OFF signal to the reel motor at points (a)-(d) shown in the figure. Namely, projection parts 5c1 and 5c2 of an edge cam 5c rotate a brake arm 8 clockwise and counterclockwise to press brakes 11a and 11b against reel turntables 9 and 10; otherwise the angle sensor 7 sends out said ON and OFF signal right before they leave the reel turntables. Therefore, this transmission of the ON and OFF signals is synchronized with the ON-OFF operation of braking, and the tape is prevented from passing through an intermusic part in intermusic detection mode and becoming loose in transition of respective modes to a stop mode. |
