<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of steering torque to be felt by driver under starting, by regulating the system response in accordance with the input torque signal level thereby eliminating hunting under starting. CONSTITUTION:Upon exceed of referential torque, the output level of an error amplifier B4 will go to negative thus to produce predetemined level at the output terminal of block B5. The signal level is cmpensated in block B6 to produce the duty pulse signal from a pulse width modulation circuit B7. The output level of B4 is negative to open AND gate (B) and to apply the power corresponding to the pulse duty from a logic control gate B17 to D.C. servo motor DM thus to produce torque which is applied through a reduction gear 9 onto a steering shaft to reduce torsion thus to reduce the input torque and to produce assisting toque to be same with the referential torque.</p> |
