<p>PURPOSE:To fix org. volatile odorous component by causing polycondensation for humus formation by mixing humus precursor with SiO2 and org. substance. CONSTITUTION:Humus is mixed with a material contg. a large amt. of activated SiO2 in proportion by weight of 50-95 to 5-50. when ill odorous substance as org. volatile component is allowed to contact or mixed with the deodorant, polycondensation reaction between metabolised product in the humus and SiO2 and the org. substance is caused to proceed formation of humus. By this reaction, the mol.wt. of the volatile component is increased and volatilization becomes unable, so the volatile component is fixed. Therefore, exhalation of ill odor is inhibited. When formation of humus is further progressed, conditions for the growth of bacteria which contribute to the formation of humus formation are established in the object to be deodorized, and the deodorizing effect is further enhanced by the proliferation of such bacterial and by the increase of metabolized product. The deodorant can be obtd. also by mixing 5-50% liquid silicic acid contg. trace amt. of Fe etc. basing on the total amt. of org. substance in the aq. soln. with the aq. soln. of the humic precursor.</p> |
