PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a chattering phenomenon when a vane is present in the vicinity of a discharge port, by a method wherein, in general, a middle pressure is applied on a vane through grooves, and when the forward end of the vane is present in the vicinity of the discharge port, a high pressure is applied thereon. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 22 and 23 and an independent hole 24 are formed in side blocks 2 and 3, a middle pressure is fed to the grooves 22 and 23, and a high pressure is fed to the hole 24. Usually, a middle pressure is applied on a vane 4 through the grooves 22 and 23, and a high pressure is applied on the vane 4 at least during engagement of the forward end of the vane 4 with the vicinity of the discharge hole 1b. This prevents the vane 4 from being forcibly pushed in a rotor 5 by means of the pressure fed through the discharge hole 1b, resulting in prevention of the occurrence of a chattering phenomenon. |
