<p>The garden furniture is in one piece and consists of a table, benches, with back-rests which fold in and are covered, when in use, by a canopy. The unit comprises two frames made of wood, and joined at the top by three hinges. A wooden slatted table is fixed onto a crosspiece which has two sides. An inverted T-shaped foot is joined to the table. Folding arms are for fixing the benches and back-rests and hold the canopy. The items are held together by zinc-coated bolts and washers. The heads of the bolts can be countersunk in the wood. The canopy is tacked down with copper or stainless steel tacks, and has fringing.</p> |
