<p>PURPOSE:To regenerate a trap at an optimum time by firing collected fine particles when the pressure loss, proportional to the amt. of the collected fine particles which are accumulated in a filter, exceeds a specified value. CONSTITUTION:The collected fine particles are fired when the specified amt. of the fine particles are accumulated in a filter 24 and the pressure loss thereof exceeds a specified value. Since the amt. of the collected fine particles corresponds almost precisely to the pressure loss in this way, the regeneration of a trap 20 can be carried out at an optimum time. Accordingly the damage and failure of the trap 20 can be prevented, and the highly reliable apparatus is obtained.</p> |
