<p>The compsn. comprises (a) 100 pts. wt. colloid silica; (b) 5-100 pts. wt acid hydrolyzed prod. of acryloxy-functional silane of formula (I) or glycydoxy-functional silane of formula (II), or their mixt.; (c) 10-500 pts. wt. bi-silyl acrylate; and (d) a catalytic amt. of photoinitiator of formula (III) to control the strength of U.V. rays. In the formulas, R3 R4, R7 and R8 are monovalent hydrocarbon; R5 and R9 are C2-8 di-valent gp.; R6 is H or mono-valent hydrocarbon carbon; b and e are 1-3; c and f are 0-2; d is 4-b-c; g is 4-e-f; X is I, P, or S; M is metal or metalloid; Q is Cl, F, Br or I; h is 4- 6; n is 2-3; R10 is H or C1-12 hydrocarbon.</p> |
