PURPOSE:To improve reliability and business efficiency such as a sale registration, etc. by converting the numeral of a total amount to a Chinese character, outputting to print is on a check slip, proventing the erroneous entery of the amount, and reducing the burden of a cashier. CONSTITUTION:When a customer request a check slip after the usual sale registration is ended, a cashier transmits a total amount of sold goods to a file control part FC5 of a store control part 3 through a check printer 4 and a keyboard, etc. This data is converted to a Chinese character by using a numeral/ Chinese character conversion table in an RAM9, sent back to an electronic cash register 1, and printed as a total amount by an Arabic numeral and a Chinese character by the printer 4. Accordingly, an entry to the check slip by the cashier is not required, therefore, the erroneous entry of the amount can be prevented, and also the burden of cashier is reduced. Also, the reliability of a commodity sale data processing device is improved, and the efficiency of the whole sale registration business is improved. |
