In a circuit arrangement for multi-frequency receivers with frequency analysis, frequencies or multi-frequency combinations received without interruption are centrally analysed as components of a subscriber code, for example the destination address of a subscriber station to be called or origin address of a subscriber station to be called and forwarded to a corresponding memory. With each detection of a complete code component, for example a single frequency or a multi-frequency combination, a detection device generates a signal which controls via a timing device switching means preventing the further acceptance of received single frequencies or multi-frequency combination signals in the detection device. The switching time of the detection switching and analysing means, together with the intermediate acceptance pause determined by the timing device, corresponds to the transmission time of a code component, for example a single frequency or a multi-frequency combination.
