A centring bush is proposed having a shank part and a collar, which bush is provided with radially projecting sections (which flex in a sprung manner in the radial direction) and can be inserted into a hole, which is designed to have a smaller diameter, while building up prestressing. The sections are preferably connected to the webs connecting the sections, forming acute-angled folds.
