PURPOSE:To make a designation-card inserting device compact and to safely designate a welding part, etc. by feeding the card to the space between upper and lower fingers and adjusting its inserting position while holding it and providing a mechanism for inserting and wrapping it in a steel belt. CONSTITUTION:A designation card 6 is fed from a cassette 8 to the space between upper and lower fingers 16 and 18 kept in an open state with the aids of attracting rolls 12 and delivery rolls 14. The upper finger 16 is closed to hold the card 6 by actuating an opening and closing cylinder 26, and is retreated by actuating a sliding cylinder 34. Next, the position of card 6 held by fingers is lowered to an inserting height by rotating a lifting motor 62, and is transferred to a required position in the width direction of a steel belt 2 coil by driving a transferring motor 48 at each stage in sequence. Further, the card 6 is turned by 270 deg. by actuating a turning cylinder 30 and is advanced by actuating the sliding cylinder 34; then the card 6 is inserted and wrapped in the belt 2 by opening the finger 16 with the aid of the cylinder 26. |
