The teeth cleaning apparatus comprises a straight drill bit having a shaft part and a cleaning part located at the lower end. The cleaning part tapers conically to a point and has four to eight smooth, facet-like side parts which rotate at a speed of more than one hundred thousand revolutions per minute and are brought into contact with the hard deposits on the teeth in the presence of a water jet. The deposits are additionally treated with ultrasound so that they disintegrate quickly and are flushed away by the water.
