In a display case having a plurality of receptacles, which overlap each other, the receptacles have a transparent groove on the outside for a recording medium and the receptacles are attached internally so as to be able to be folded over. In order for each receptacle to be able to receive as many recording media as possible and to be capable of easy removal from the case, and in order that the recording media should be well protected and each receptacle can be rapidly and safely reintroduced into the case, each receptacle consists of two parts, which overlap except for a permanently visible labelling strip and are jointly fixed to a retaining strip.
