METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CHANNEL CHANGE

PURPOSE:To allow an opposite station to start surely channel switching operation by transmitting a control signal by which a prescribed value or over of an error is detected by a control signal decoder of the opposite station from the own station to indicate changeover of channel. CONSTITUTION:A controller 12 codes correctly redundancy information of a control signal to a control signal coder 13 at the own station 11 and transmits it through a transmitter 14. The opposite station 15 does not detect code transmission errors at a control signal decoder 17 or decodes as much as possible the control transmission errors. On the other hand, when the controller 12 gives an indication to the control signal coder 13 to code the redundancy information of the control signal intensionally to the extent impossible for correction of error and the coded control signal is transmitted by the transmitter 14, the control signal decoder 17 of the opposite station detects that the code transmission error is not corrected, a controller 18 starts the channel changeover operation as is case with the time impossible for code transmission error correction due to a noise disturbing current.
