PURPOSE:To produce a cup-shaped metallic body fixed with a shaft in the central part by placing the metallic cylinder onto a lower die on which the shaft is erected and forcing powerfully a stripping and raising tool having the outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the metallic cylinder and having the guide hole for the above-mentioned shaft to the cylinder from the top end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A plastic metallic cylinder 1 consisting of iron, copper, brass, aluminum, etc. is placed on a lower die 2 on which a shaft 3 to be used as a body to be fixed is erected in a small hole 2a. A stripping and raising tool 4 having the outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the cylinder 1 and having a guide hole 4b for the shaft 3 in the central part is placed to the top end of the cylinder 1. The stripping and raising tool is depressed with a powerful press machine or the like and while the metal 1a on the inside surface of the cylinder 1 is stripped and raised by the top end 4a thereof, the cylinder is pressed down. The stripped and raised metal 1a increase gradually and gather to each other toward the center until finally the plate-shaped bottom is formed by the top surface of the die 2 and the top end face 4a of the tool 4. The cup- shaped metallic cylinder having the shaft 3 at the center is thus produced. |
