PURPOSE:To make both the core level and swing of a polishing tray adjustable at will, by jointly installing a movable holder of a polishing tray shaft, which sets a height position of the polishing tray free, and a fixed holder which sets a longitudinal symmetrical position of the polishing tray free likewise. CONSTITUTION:Making a movable holder 3 inserted into a polishing tray shaft 2 into verticalness, it is locked to a fixed holder 6, measuring a head part position of a polishing tray 1 by a dial gauge M and calculating its distance from a rocking center line, and the polishing tray 1 is slidden up and down so as to cause the head part measured valve and a tray part curvature radius to come equal to each other whereby corelevel adjust screws 4 and 4 are clamped at a congruous point and locked thereat. Next, a movable base 3 is titled as far as about 30 degrees frontward or rearward, then a dial gauge pointer is applied to a spot proximate to the edge of the polishing tray 1, and the movable holder 3 is adjusted to all directions by each of core-swing adjust screws 7 and 7, thus the holder 3 is locked at the congruous point. Doing like this, a lens L can be polished in a highly accurate and speedy manner. |
