PURPOSE:To improve humidity dependance of a recording body and to reduce occurrence of dotted whitening, uneven recording, ghost, etc., by forming a conductive layer composed of a layer contg. a conductive powder dispersed into a binder and a layer made of a water-soluble polymer electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:The first conductive layer contg. a conductive powder due to electron conduction, such as SnO2 doped with Sb dispersed into a binder, and the second conductive layer made of a water-soluble polymer electrolyte, such as polyvinylbenzyl quaternary ammonium chloride are formed on a paper base. These composite conductive layers are coated with a dielectric layer composed of a resin, such as acrylic resin or polyester, contg. a pigment, such as CaCO3 or clay, dispersed into it to form an electrostatic recording body. |
