PURPOSE:To prevent the step-on operation of a brake pedal from increment, by separating a master cylinder from a brake cylinder after once having the brake cylinder interconnected to a reservoir with a directional selector valve, while boosting pressure by an accumulator. CONSTITUTION:In time of antiskid control starting, in a computer 36, each of solenoid directional selector valves 24 and 26 corresponding to wheel cylinders 20 and 22 of the wheel is selected whereby those wheel cylinders 20 and 22 are intercepted from a master cylinder 10 and interconnected to a reservoir 44. As a result, skid control takes place, and the computer 36 repeatedly selects the selector valve 26 and eliminates the skid. During which the selector valve 24 is held at the select position. And, after the skid is over, if a pedal 12 is stepped on for repressurization, a control valve 28 opens by dint of pressure of the master cylinder 10 whereby a brake fluid in an accumulator 32 flows in each of these wheel cylinders 20 and 22 via a throttle 82. This hydraulic pressure is decompressed up to the same pressure of the master cylinder 10 by the control valve 28. |
