PURPOSE:To transmit the variation in tensile strength of a sensor material to a piezoelectric oscillator accurately, and take an accurate measurement by enclosing the piezoelectric oscillator in a seal member, and making soft the sensor material or the contacting part between its coupling part and seal member. CONSTITUTION:The output frequency of a crystal oscillation circuit when humidity is H0 is denoted as f0, and hair 6 increases in length slightly with the humidity, so the tensile strength of a spring 8 decreases and the tensile strength to the crystal oscillator 3 decreases through a coupling line 7. Consequently, the responce frequency of the crystal oscillator 3 increases linearly from f0. When the humidity decreases, on the other hand, the output frequency of the crystal oscillator 3 decreases, so the humidity is measured in terms of the output frequency. The crystal oscillator 3 is enclosed in the seal part 9 and the coupling line 7 is sealed piercing a cap 9c, so variation in the tensile strength of the sensor material is transmitted accurately to the crystal oscillator 3 without any environmental influence. |
