<p>An uncured chlorinated polyethylene elastomer having a molecular weight distribution of about 6-13, as determined by the ratio of <MathDetails id="matha01"><MathText><![CDATA[ <img id="ia01" file="imga0001.tif" wi="6" he="8" img-content="math" img-format="tif" inline="yes" /> ]]></MathText></MathDetails>where</p><p>Mw represents the weight average molecular weight and Mn represents the number average molecular weight, a chlorine content of about 20-28% by weight, a Mooney viscosity value, determined according to ASTM D 1646-81, ML(<Sub>1+4</Sub>) at 100°C, of about 15-36; and, optionally, a sulfur content of about 0.2-2% by weight and a process for their preparation.</p> |
