PURPOSE:To improve the operability of connection and to save its space by using an attachment for optical fiber connection which is so constituted as to connect a screw connection type adapter and a push-lock type plug. CONSTITUTION:The push-lock type plug 10 has a ferrule 3 projecting from the end surface in the center, and also has an engagement part 11 for push locking partially or entirely at the outer circumference. On the other hand, an internal screw 16 corresponding to the thread cut in the outer circumfernce of the cylindrical part of the adapter is provided on the adapter-connection side of the attachment 15 for optical fiber connection and engaged with the cylindrical part of the adapter, and an internal engagement part 17 corresponding to the external engagement part 11 of the plug 10 is engaged with the plug 10. Thus, the attachment is used to improve the operability of connection and also save the save. |
