A METHOD OF PRODUCING A POLYPROPYLENE FILM FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

A polypropylene film for electrical appliances is disclosed having on its surface densely distributed surface-roughened structures with, at the periphery, protuberances of fibrous texture superposed and intertwined with each other and with crimped fibrous structures, said film having a degree of surface roughness of at least 5%. The film can be produced by melt-extruding a crystallized polypropylene.
