PURPOSE:To connect pipes of a hot-melt synthetic resin without requiring skill, by interposing heating members of magnets between inserted surfaces that are to be connected, and melting the vicinity of the heating member by electromagnetic induction heating. CONSTITUTION:Ends of pipes 12, 13 where they are to be connected are inserted into a socket 11 and a pair of heating rings 15 of magnets are buried in the insides of opposite ends of the socket. All the circumferential surface of each of the heating ring 15 is formed with a plurality of small holes 16 that are in turn filled with the same resin as the socket. The heating rings 15 are internally heated by an electromagnetic induction heater 15 having a heating coil 17 to melt the vicinities of the contacted sections of the pipes 12, 13 and the socket thereby welding the pipes 12, 13 at the inside and outside of the heating rings 15. |
