An insertable weir structure for a water closet includes a cylindrical valve, with an opening thru the cylinder perpendicular to and passing thru its axis; rotatable and externally controlled such that in one position it permits the liquid wastes to pass thru a passageway in the weir of the water closet and when rotated approximately 90 DEG completely closes the passageway in the weir forcing flushed material to follow the conventional path over the top of the weir.
