PURPOSE:To attain a high-speed access to a disk storing the music number exceeding the capacity of a memory by storing the numbers of music more than the memory capacity to a memory at prescribed intervals and reading out the memory contents approximate to the designated music number to control the shift of a pickup. CONSTITUTION:If the number of music stored in a disk D is more than the capacity of a memory, the numbers of music having prescribed intervals and their starting time points are written to an RAM3. When a certain music number is designated by an input device 4, a CPU4 reads the contents of the music number closest to the designated on of the RAM3. Then an access is given to the designated music number of the disk D via large, medium and small shift means 5-7 respectively. In such a way, a high-speed access is possible to a disk storing the number of music exceeding the memory capacity. |
