PURPOSE:To provide a releasing agent that is useful as an internal mold releasing agent as well as an external mold releasing agent, by using specified carboxy functional siloxane salts. CONSTITUTION:The present releasing agent comprises a carboxyl functional siloxane contaning 0.1-50% by mol of a siloxane unit represented by the formula I [wherein R<1> denotes a (substituted) hydrocarbon group; R<2> denotes a divalent joining group connected to the Si via a C-Si bond or C-O-Si bond; M denotes an alkali (earth) metal or an amine residue; (a) is a number of 0-2 on an average; and (b) is a number of 1-3 on an average] and 50-99.9% by mol of a siloxane unit represented by the formula II [wherein R<3> denotes a (substituted) hydrocarbon group; and (c) is a number of 0-3 on an average.]. |
