This invention concerns a tool for use in collaboration with a hammer drill that is mounted on a large working machine, e.g. an excavator for driving pipes into the ground etc. The said tool includes a first device (1) and a second device (8). The first device (1) is inserted into the machine's hammer drill (4), while the second device (8) is secured to the hammer drill by means of a connecting device. The first device (1) is designed in several sections each with its own diameter and with shoulders located between the said sections arranged to interact partly with the second device (8), partly with a pipe intended for driving into the ground that is arranged in the first device (9).
