The invention refers to a device for the control of the current supply to a number of electric heating elements that depend on the outdoor temperature. The output signal from the temperature sensor (5) is compared in a comparator (7) to a number of reference signals from a reference signal sensor (9). A timer device (10) varies the disconnection time of the hearing elements in relation to their connection time depending on the value of a corresponding reference signal from the temperature sensor (5).
