摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of pile driving operations by a method in which the oscillation frequency of a vibrator is made variable so as to maximize the level of vibration, and on the basis of detected values, the turning speed of the power generator of the vibrator is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A pile driver 1 consists of a drive motor 3, a vibrator 4, and a chuck 5, and the vibrator 4 is driven by the drive motor 3, which is furnished with power from a power generator 9 through a power source control board 8. The turning speed of the motor 3 is controlled by the frequency of the power source and the oscillation frequency of the vibrator 4 is controlled thereby. The vibration energy of the ground when driving a pile is measured by a vibrometer 10, and on the basis of the detected vibration levels, the frequency of the power source is controlled. The driving efficiency of piles, e.g., steel sheet pile, etc., can thus be greatly improved. Since the construction work can be all made automatically, the needs for labor of workers can be eliminated and the efficiency of operations can be greatly raised.
