PURPOSE:To make a required sectional view of a specimen subject to detection avilable, by making a plurality of vibrators two alley-shaped flaw detecting probes kept apart from the specimen and using projection informations from various sources, vibration conditions and inverted projection method. CONSTITUTION:With a CPU13 control, a vibrator 3 is used for issuing waves and a vibrator 4 for receiving. An ultrasonic-wave after passing through the specimen 5 is received by the vibrator 4 and its timing is set basing on geometrical position relationships of vibrators 3, 4. This signal is amplified by a reciver 11 and sent to a peak-detecting holder 14. N ultrasonic signals held at the peak value operate by providing a control signal from the CPU13 to a multiplexer 15 and are converted to digital values after an input operation from the multiplexer 15 to an A/D convertor 16. The CPU13 controls each functional block of the flaw detector and operates levels of recived penetrated receiver signal and collect various ultrasonic-wave projection data obtained by combination of operated wave-sending vibrators. Further, inmage displays of results of flaw detection operations in the real time contribute to improved inspection efficiencies. |
