PURPOSE:To suppress noise and vibration of an engine and improve its fuel consumption, by decreasing a control distance smaller than the control distance of a throttle lever by a predetermined amount through a rod movably contained in a solenoid so as to reduce an output of the engine when a speed change gear is shifted to its high speed side under the no-work condition of a machine. CONSTITUTION:One end of a rod 12 is pivotally mounted to a throttle adjusting arm 11 of a carburetor, and the other end of the rod is connected to a solenoid operating structure 13. The operating structure 13 is a predetermined distance movably contained in a solenoid 14, and a protruding length of the structure 13 is changed decreasing when the solenoid 14 is excited or increasing when it is not excited. A switch 17 in the three-speed position of a speed change shift 9 is turned off only when a speed change lever 7 is shifted to the three-speed position, releasing excitation of the solenoid 14, and the operating structure 13 protrudes from the solenoid 14 returning a position of the arm 11 in its operating range to the position B from the position A to which the arm 11 has been moved when the solenoid is excited. In this way, a running speed is also controlled to within the specified limit by decreasing an engine output. |
