PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of gear interlocking mechanism by engaging and arranging in the same level, gears driven by a driving gear integral with a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear 3 integral with a crank shaft 2 and an idle gear 5 driving an oil pump 4 directly rotate each other with engagement and the gear 5 drives an air inlet-exhaust cam shaft 6 through a cam gear 7, a fuel injection cam 8 through a cam gear 9 and also drives a balancer shaft 10 through a balancer gear 11 respectively. Consequently above mentioned mechanism rotates and interlocks each air inlet-exhaust valve, a fuel injection pump and a balancer weight. At the same time, the load generated from driving of the oil pump 4 affects on the gear 5 regularly. Although load change affects as much on the gear 7, 9, 11, and others as on the gear 3, ordinarily generated load and inertia decrease the noise and the variation of backlash. |
