The heat exchanger consists of circulation tubes (1) fitted into collecting plates (3) and connected to dissipators (2). The collecting plates are covered with water containers (10) made of rigid moulded material and side webs (4) are placed between the collecting plates without being fixed thereto so as to form bracing elements between them. On the one hand, the collecting plates (3) have at least one deformable part between their part receiving the tubes (1) and their part connected to the water containers (10). On the other hand, the water containers are connected rigidly to lateral supports (15) to form a rigid framework with them.
