PURPOSE:To suppress noise by allowing the outside surface of casing of a compressor body to attract two semi-cylindrical permanent magnets to function as a damper, and thereby suppressing possible torsional vibration. CONSTITUTION:Outside surface of the casing 20 of a compressor body shall attract two semi-cylindrical permanent magnets 22, 23 to function as a damper. That is, the bond between these magnets 22, 23 and the casing 20 is only due to magnetic force. Accordingly, even when the casing 20 begins torsional vibration, the magnets 22, 23 are willing to retain their original positions owing to the inertia force deriving from their own gravities, without making followup motion to said torsional vibration, but sliding on the outside surface of the casing 20. Thereby a frictional force is generated at the attraction parts between casing 20 and magnets 22, 23 because of said sliding to bring about the torsional vibration. Thus noise likely otherwise generated by such torsional vibration can be suppressed. |
