PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of high pressure fluid by forming an enclosed chamber of fluid by means of a seal case and a seal ring while making a hole communicating between each enclosed chambers and the casing. CONSTITUTION:Seal cases 3a, 3b provided with seal rings 4a, 4b are arranged in radial direction of the spindle flange 2 to form the independent enclosed chambers I and II. Holes 11, 12 communicating through the enclosed chambers I , IIand the atomosphere side III are made through the seal cases 3a, 3b with interval of 180 deg.. Water fed through a hole 9 in the casing 5 is discharged through said chamber I , hole 11, chamber II and hole 12 to the atmosphere side III. Consequently, flow-in of high pressure water containing sand at the impeller 8 side can be prevented by supplying clean water through a hole 9 with higher pressure that at the impeller 8 side. |
