PURPOSE:To enable momentary announcement of the time till end of an image forming operation to the user and to make the use convenient by providing a time display means which displays the time since the start till end of the image forming operation. CONSTITUTION:A time display part 75 which displays the time till end of a copying operation is provided to an operation panel 2 and the time required since the start of the image forming operation till the end thereof is preliminarily set in a timer and the time set in said timer is successively subtracted at the same instant when the image forming operation is started. The content thereof is displayed on the time display part 75 on the panel 2. Since the time since the start till the end of the image forming operation is momentarily announced to the user by the display part 75 in the above-mentioned way and therefore the user is able to know easily about what time is required until the copying operation is completed. |
