PURPOSE:To reduce noises generated on a power supply line on the change-over of output levels from output buffers by mounting power supply busses at every fixed number of the output buffers in an integrated circuit with a plurality of the output buffers. CONSTITUTION:Output buffers 206-1-1-206-Q-P in an integrated circuit chip 202 held to a package 201 are divided into the groups of Q pairs consisting of P output buffers. The output buffer group such as the No.1 output buffer group is composed of the output buffers 206-1-1-206-1-P, a supply potential level is given through a pin 215-1 and a pad 213-1, and a grounding potential level is given through a pin 211-1 and a pad 209-1. Even when the change of large supply currents through which the whole output buffers shift among the states in which the output buffers output the same output level is followed, the effect of noises from a power supply line on output levels is reduced because the power supply line is separated, and the reliability of an integrated circuit can be improved. |
