PURPOSE:To obtain a medium having a good surface characteristic and high elasticity by forming a soft magnetic film such as a ''Permalloy'' film or the like on a high polymer film and forming a vertical magnetized film such as an alloy film composed of cobalt and chromium or the like on the soft magnetic film. CONSTITUTION:A material such as aluminum, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, glass, ceramic or the like is used for an inorg. base plate 4. A high polymer film 3 consisting of a polyimide resin, silicone resin, polyamide resin, etc. is formed on the plate 4. A soft magnetic film 2 consisting of ''Permalloy'', Co amorphous, Fe-B amorphous, etc. is formed thereon and further a vertical magnetized film 1 consisting of Co-Ca, etc. is formed thereon. Since the vertical magnetic recording medium has elasticity, the contact between a main pole 5 and the film 1 is stable, recording of the signal is exact and reproduction sensitivity is good. |
