PURPOSE:To rationalize service and prevent an error by storing the kind, registration number, amount, and quantity of checks in a buffer every time the checks are registered, and generating an warning when the size of the buffer approximates specific size. CONSTITUTION:The RAM of a teller machine is provided with an area M1 where key numbers 1-N are stored, an area M2 for totalizers T1-TN corresponding to the numbers 1-N, an area M3 where Y or N showing whether buffering is on or off is entered, a storage part M4 for size S, and an area M5 for a warning point WP. Further, the kind, registration number, and amount of a check are registered in areas D1, D2, and D3 of the area M6 respectively every time the check is issued. The total number and total amount of checks are operated by a computer (not shown in figure) and recorded in areas D4 and D5 respectively. The size S of the area M4 prescribes the size of the area M6, and the point WP in the area D4 monitors the data in the area D4. When the size approximates the warning point, a warning is generated to draw teller's attention, and when the number of checks attains to a specific value, a list is formed and sent to the rear. Consequently, the service is rationalized and an error is prevented. |
