PURPOSE:To form a color image in a relatively short time and to realize a simple, small-sized structure by providing plural convergent optical transmitters as a means which projects reflected light from an original upon an image supporter. CONSTITUTION:When a copy start switch is pressed, a platen 2 starts moving as shown by an arrow A, and when the front end of an original reaches a position X, the original surface is irradiated with light from a lamp 16 for exposure, and reflected light from the original surface is projected upon a photosensitive body 6 through a red separating filter 13a, couple of SELFOC lenses 13, and an inverting mirror 13b to form a charge pattern corresponding to a cyan color image. This charge pattern is developed by a developing device 6b and transferred onto transfer paper by a transferring device 6c. The original moves forth as shown by an arrow A during said period; and the charge pattern corresponding to a magenta color image is formed at a position Y and a charge pattern corresponding to a yellow color image is formed at a position Z. |
