PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article which is free of peeling between a vessel and mortar and is suitable for an industrial weight to be used on an oscillation bed, by casting resin mortar including unsaturated polyester resin and silica sand into the vessel composed of an unsaturated polyester resin including glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:A plastic vessel 1 is composed of unsaturated polyester resin including glass fibers, whose thickness is 1-5mm, the top is made into an opening part so as to cast resin mortar into a shape of the vessel, and the vessel in a disclike state or doughnutlike state or semispherical state is used. The resin mortar 2 is obtained by mixing a curing agent, a cure accelerator and silica sand with the unsaturated polyester resin. The other mixture, for example, powdered calcium carbonate, a Silastic balloon may be used to keep weight and capacity of a weight constant. As adhesion between the vessel composed of the unsaturated polyester resin including the glass fiber and the resin mortar including the unsaturated polyester resin and silica sand is favorable, a molded article which does not generate peeling between the plastic vessel and mortar and is suitable for the industrial weight can be obtained.
