PURPOSE:To stabilize the pressure of machining liquid with a simple structure, so that a wire from being cut in order to enhance the accuracy of machining, by providing a resilient member for urging both nozzles which are opposed together through the intermediary of a workpiece, toward the workpiece so that the front ends of the nozzles are always press-contacted to the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower nozzles 5, 6 are always urged toward the workpiece 2 side by means of springs 10 disposed between dice steps 4 so that the front ends of the nozzles 5, 6 are press-contacted to a workpiece 2. As a result, machining liquid indicated by arrows (a) is fed into the workpiece 2 without its pressure being reduced, so that machined dust are surely discharged. Further, although there may be elongated the upper nozzle 5, axially thereof due to thermal deformation upon machining, the elongation may be absorbed by the compression of the springs 10 so that defects in machining will not occur in association with restriction to the motion, and since the front ends of the nozzles 5, 6 are press-contacted to the workpiece, the set heights of both nozzles 5, 6 are surely made equal together only by setting the workpiece 2. |
