The present invention relates to a holding device for suspending roof tiles from heat-insulating slabs of an under-roof, a ventilation gap being provided between the roof tiles and the under-roof, consisting of a number of supporting bands which are arranged at regular intervals, which come to bear, with their wall regions projecting downwards, on the surface of the heat-insulating slabs, which project, in their central region, into groove-shaped recesses in the heat-insulating slabs, and which carry, with their ends projecting upwards, transversely extending profiled rails from which the roof tiles are suspended, according to German Patent Application P 3322111.1. To obtain as simple a fastening of the provided supporting bands as possible with respect to the underlying heat-insulating slabs (1), provision is made within the scope of the present invention for the supporting bands (3) to be provided, along their band regions (12) projecting downwards and/or along their central regions (11) projecting into the groove-shaped recesses (2), with toothed-shaped projections (8 to 10) which engage in the heat-insulating slabs (1). <IMAGE>
