A door frame consisting of metal, preferably of aluminium, which consists of two vertical frame profiles, an upper transverse web, a lower threshold and of facing profiles made of plastic assigned to the frame profiles, the individual frame profiles being formed from in each case thermally separate externally and internally situated sections, is to be designed in such a manner that, with simple means, a tight connection is guaranteed between the threshold-side and the frame-side facing profiles. To this end, it is envisaged according to the invention that the facing profile for the threshold has the same profile cross-section as the facing profiles for the remaining frame parts and that the connection between the facing profile for the threshold and the facing profiles for the adjoining vertical frame parts consists in a mitre cut running at an angle of 45 DEG .
