The invention relates to a road train with a steering facility for the trailer vehicle, having a rigid forked drawbar which is coupled to the towing vehicle, the trailer vehicle having a live ring transmission by means of which the steering of the trailer vehicle is influenced when going round bends. So that the steering fork can be completely dispensed with in a road train of this kind, there is provision according to the invention for the forked drawbar to be guided in a telescopic manner in the longitudinal direction with respect to the live ring frame and for a central push rod to be arranged between the forked drawbar and the bogie, the said push rod being connected to a live ring transmission. By means of this live ring transmission, when going round a bend the push rod displaces the forked drawbar with respect to the bogie, the live ring transmission being arranged behind the axle in the direction of travel. For this purpose, the live ring transmission can have a sprocket wheel transmission, downstream of which a crank mechanism is connected. In this way, coupling only has to take place with the forked drawbar, as is generally customary. In this way, any towing vehicle can be coupled to the trailer vehicle of this kind.
