<p>A service unit, which is designed for a dental or medical consultation or the like, has a vertically mounted shaft 16 and a base belonging thereto. The service unit also has at least three storage surfaces 10, 11, 12, rotatably connected to the shaft, and at least one and preferably two working surfaces 13, 14 rotatably connected to the said shaft by way of the arms 17, 18.
