PURPOSE:To achieve highly accurate automatic grinding of a chuck core by fixing a chuck lever member to be grinded integrally with a swing arm gauge member fixed such that the gauge groove will fit with the grinding wheel onto a fixing spindle provided while facing with a rotary grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:On a gause body 13, a chuck lever member 16 is secured to a spindle 8 and set at the fixed position. Then a rotary grinding wheel 1 is driven and moved up and down along a guide support 5 to bring a handle 9 near to the grinding wheel 1 by means of a handle 9. Two chuck members are cut simultaneously with same angle and depth while when bringing the chuck member 16 nearer to the grinding wheel 1, the gauge groove 14 in the gauge body 13 set at the underside will fit with the grinding wheel 1 to contact each other thus to confirm completion of predetermined grinding. At the same time, the grinding wheel 1 is cut reversely by the super hard gauge groove 14 in the gauge body 13 to correct the shape of the grinding wheel 1. In such a manner, the chuck core can be obtained automatically with high accuracy resulting in quick work through simple operation. |
